Welcome to Electro SA Gadgets. We specialize in the sale of second-hand and new electronics, including iPhones, Apple products, and musical instruments. Please read this Refund & Returns Policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. General Policy
At Electro SA Gadgets, all second-hand and electronic products are thoroughly tested and inspected before sale to ensure quality and functionality.
By purchasing from us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
We aim to provide fair and transparent service while protecting both customers and the business from misuse or fraudulent returns.
2. Eligibility for Returns
Returns may be accepted under the following conditions:
- The item is defective or not functioning as described
- The wrong item was supplied
- The item has undisclosed major damage
- The return request is made within the allowed return period
To qualify for a return:
- The item must be returned in the same condition it was sold
- All accessories, chargers, cables, packaging, and receipts must be included
- The device must not be linked to any personal account (e.g., iCloud, Apple ID, Google account)
- The item must not have physical damage caused after purchase
3. Return Period
Electronics & Apple Products
- Returns must be requested within 7 days of purchase
Musical Instruments
- Returns must be requested within 3 days of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing
No returns will be accepted after the applicable return period.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable unless faulty on arrival:
- Accessories and consumables
- Software and digital products
- Earphones/headphones due to hygiene reasons
- Items sold “AS IS”
- Clearance or discounted items
- Devices damaged by water, drops, misuse, or unauthorized repairs
5. Warranty Information
Second-Hand Devices
Unless otherwise stated:
- Second-hand devices may include a limited store warranty of 7 to 30 days covering hardware faults only
New Products
- New products may carry the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable
The warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage
- Water damage
- Battery wear and tear
- Software issues caused by the user
- Negligence or misuse
6. Refund Process
Once the returned item has been inspected and approved:
- Refunds may be issued via the original payment method or store credit
- Processing times may take 3–7 business days
- If a product is found not to be faulty, the refund may be declined
Electro SA Gadgets reserves the right to charge a reasonable handling or restocking fee where applicable.
7. Exchanges
Exchanges may be offered for:
- Faulty items
- Incorrect items supplied
- Approved warranty claims
Exchange approval depends on stock availability.
8. Device Security Requirements
For all returned phones, tablets, laptops, or Apple products:
- “Find My iPhone” and Activation Lock must be disabled
- All passwords and personal accounts must be removed before return
- Devices returned locked to an account will not qualify for refund or exchange
9. Inspection & Testing
All products sold by Electro SA Gadgets are:
- Tested before sale
- Serial-number recorded
- Verified for functionality and condition
Returns showing signs of tampering, part swapping, or physical abuse will be rejected.
10. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Checking product compatibility before purchase
- Backing up personal data before returning devices
- Inspecting items upon collection or delivery
Electro SA Gadgets is not responsible for any data loss.
11. Shipping Returns
If a return is approved:
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was supplied incorrectly or arrived defective
- We recommend using tracked and insured shipping services
Electro SA Gadgets is not liable for items lost or damaged during return transit.

ENVATO PTY LTD
For the purpose of validating and getting your purchase information regarding licenses for our theme, we send your provided tokens and purchase keys to Envato Pty Ltd and use the response from their API to register your validated support data. TICKSY
Ticksy provides the support ticketing platform we use to handle support requests. The data they receive is limited to the data you explicitly provide and consent to being set when you create a support ticket. 7. HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
When you submit a support ticket or a comment, its metadata is retained until (if) you tell us to remove it. We use this data so that we can recognize you and approve your comments automatically instead of holding them for moderation.
If you register on our website, we also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except changing your username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
8. SECURITY MEASURES
We use the SSL/HTTPS protocol throughout our site. This encrypts our user communications with the servers so that personal identifiable information is not captured/hijacked by third parties without authorization.
In case of a data breach, system administrators will immediately take all needed steps to ensure system integrity, will contact affected users and will attempt to reset passwords if needed.
